  • Service may be unavailable with some hotel room phones.
  • Include the initial 0 when dialing.
  • With green public phones, insert coins or an NTT telephone card. They will be returned unused when you hang up. With other public phones, lift the receiver and immediately push 0055.
  • 0055 calls cannot be made to PHS phones.
  • In the case of pink public phones, service is available only for those with push-tone signals.

* The call service via KDDI Super World Card (from mobile and PHS phones) within Japan terminated at 24:00 on Friday, March 28, 2008.
